This is really very sad to me talk about this but is something that need to be warned.

the HR688 FBO module is not more than a GM HEI module built in on a fancy Mopar disposition box

that is something what IF YOU REALLY WANT, can be done by yourself on any damaged stock box you have around, but definitelly not paying more than the GM HEI module itself at your local store.

Hey, I just did this swap for about $40 on my slant six Valiant!

Slant Six Upgrades on my 1967 Plymouth Valiant Coupe

yes that's something has been done for years, and in fact you can make it inside an old ECU box you have around, removing everything from inside and attaching the GM HEI module inside the Mopar Box to the 4 pins to keep stock look ( what it is making in fact FBO with the new box, but CHARGING WHAT THEY CHARGE FOR THE FANCY BOX )
