I'm running the original Carter 4bbl (650?) on the 440 in my New Yorker. When I put the new heads on I also used a felpro valley pan w/block offs. Would my best choke option be an electronic for the carter or picking up a new performer 750 with an electric choke? ($311 at mancini) Does someone sell an electronic choke I can bolt on the carter?
Also, after the car sits for a few days, or on cold mornings, if I don't catch it right away it won't start and I have to dump some gas down the carb. What's the best way to make it more reliable? My charger has an electric fuel pump and starts every time, regardless of how long it's been sitting, by turning the fuel on and waiting 20 seconds and pumping twice.

Electric choke add on for the carter would be a cheap fix or even a mechanical hand choke. I think you should be able to get a universal of either at the local parts store.

what he said , buy the ebrock electric choke kit , the only thing you need to do is pull the steel tubs , or cut it off , for the choke pull off diaphragm .

if you buy another carb get a THUNDER series or anything but a performer 750 unless you want an ill running beast .

if you want an ill running beast i have a performer 750 i'll sell you CHEAP ...
