Got my car on the scales yesterday for the first time since starting all of my changes to the car. Last year, the last scale sheet I have said the total race ready weight was 3015 lbs.
Quick rundown on what was done: update to 25.5 cage (so added alot of tubing), wishbone, anti-roll added, fire system added, race pak added, moved master cylinder under the floor, changed to lexan windshield, went to single lightweight 16v battery, all "lightening cable", lightweight fuel lines, and alot of other places I lost ounces.
The net total is a new race weight of 2907 lbs. I still have a plan to loose about 65 more lbs and still retain my stockish look.

Welcome to Weight Watchers. Are you going to the IHRA bracket finals at Crandall? It would be cool to see your car.
If you get the chance look it over good, I saw it a few years ago at Bowling Green. Very, very neat, I wish I had some of the skills Brian has . Ok...... some of the cash would help too .

I wish I had some of that cash also...... It isn't easy and I removed everything that wasn't needed. You have to look under my car to really appreciate it. Its also a very safe car for the times im running. The safety aspect is more important to me than the weight, but if you can have both then why not? I am looking for a 5.80/9.1x in perfect weather this fall.

I might take it out this coming weekend and I liked the track there in Tulsa. I might just venture back up there....plus it will give me an excuse to go to the Hard Rock Casio again. ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbs.gif)

I'm not in the points, but I might go out to watch. If I do, I will look you up.
