Depending on your torque output, I doubt you would notice much difference over stock during regular street duty. You should be able to flash it a little higher than a stock 11" unit though. It's hard to say, for we do not know enough information about your combo. With that said, I've never run that particular converter, but used to run the factory 11" hi-stalls as a budget piece back in my high school-college years. I could get 2700-2800 flash out of those depending on the combo.

71 Charger w/stock 440 rebuild to 9.5, I'm going to install Mr Sixpak cam, advanced 2 degrees w/factory exhaust, original avs carb, 3:23 open w/2756015 tires.....

I would call Turbo Action and ask them. They recommended me one of their 10" converters for my combo and I couldn't be happier.

Well, the good thing about the Mr. Sixpack cam is the guy who designed, perfected, and races with it knows exactly how to dial it in to your whole package. That said, your best bet is to call Bob and ask him yourself.
It's been a while back now, but when I talked to Bob, he seemed to indicate his cam is optimized with a tight factory torque converter. Apparently all High Performance and NON-High Performance 69-71 440s used the same torque converter rated at around 2000-to-2300 rpm.

However, it seems to me Bob did mention the Turbo Action Street Hemi torque convert as a good option but that he couldn't use one due to the Pure Stock rules. But you'll have to call to confirm that with him.

I'm kind of curious now too. I wonder where that torque converter flashes at behind a stock 440 build?
