Any suggestions on where to locate a steering coupler? This is the rubber piece similar to the Ford "Rag Joint" but is all rubber.
TIA.

I think C bodies actually got this kind:

My 74 B got this one, thin, without the metal inserts

if your C got that, there are MANY generic replacements aroudn to several barnds what shares same assembly ( some old Toyotas Js got them same size )

The one your talking about was also used on Fords and other vehicles and is called a rag joint. This car has a thick SOLID RUBBER piece that looks sorta like a rag joint, but is about an inch or more thick.

I'll see if I can get to where the car is and get a picture or two. I think I will have to get the pieces out so I can get a decent picture.........

Ok, then the one you need is the one shown at bouchillon performance link. It has the metallic inserts. 73 B bodies used them too. Not my 74 Charger though. It looks 74s Bs got a change there and my Mopar parts catalog show C bodies using the one I have, but we never know with MaMopar LOL

they are priced anywhere between $90-150

Bradsnosparts used to have them too, dunno if still
