I hooked a vacuum gauge up last night, and I was showing 5" vacuum at WOT pretty steady from 3000 to 5500 rpm.

I was thinking it should be lower than that and maybe the air door should be further open.

I can't find much in the carb owners manual on the subject, has anyone done this before?

Thanks in advance,

John

is there a spring on the secondary door you can adjust? like the old AVS carb.

On the Thunder Series there is a screw on the side of the secondary door that you can turn to lighten up the spring to have it open faster and further.
