I am told that the connector needs to be clearanced for the bracket and that the frame connector should be modified before installation. Apparently very difficult to modify the connector after installation. Anyone have any pictures?

How vital is the 6-way bracket if the frame connectors are installed? I put a 6-way in my 72 cuda without the floor bracket and don't recall any issues.

I just left the brackets off.

The connector was close enough to the area where the seat studs stuck thru I feel it'll be fine

The 6 way brackets will fit ok if you notch the frame conectors but you really do not need the 6 way brackets...just use a set of upper shock washers or cut the brackets to clear the frame connectors. I used a set of shock washers and my 6 way seat works fine.
