I am trying to replace the pushbuttons on the radio with new chrome reproductions. I have the face off. Now I don't know how to release the buttons?

It depends on which radio you have , AM , AM 8-Track , AM FM 1970 Phillips or 1971 AM FM Motorolla ?
All have diffrent chrome push buttons and their are 3 diffrent mounting styles.
Most, you bend the little tab out a bit, then pry it off. Others have a release button (most commonly found on the 1970 Phillips AM FM)
and others are just pressed on and must be removed with great force , and great care not to damage the tuner.
