We have a Moroso Pan #19580 and we have a 65 coronet that came with a 361. We are putting a 440 stroker in it and wanted to know if it will clear the k frame or does the k frame need to be modified? I have the fab skills to do this.

The moroso 18760 0r the 20760 fits perfect no notching at all -
I don't even show 19580 as a current number by Moroso - if it that old design you have to notch the k frame lip a small amount if you have a 65 k-frame

Ok I know that one - yes it will hit the K-frame on the passenger side. I have the one 18760 fits perfect no issues around the drag link either

Don't know the pan part number off the top of my head, but I notched the rear edge of the K frame on the passenger side to clear my Moroso pan in my '65 B-body.

Used an angle grinder, only took a few minutes.

Mine has been in my 65 with 440 for 15 years at least. Its the 8 qt for 66 up.It cleared but I trimed a real little from the pass side.Really didnt have to just wanted a bit more clearance. You will see where its close to the frame when you drop it in.Easy fix if you want a bit more clearance.Just make sure you get the rail sanded real good or chrome usually leaks.Rocky

Ron your pan looks like mine.I just notched the K a tiny bit as I wanted a little more clearance.I didnt trust the crappy rubber mounts as I tore them up all the time. Now with the poly mounts my motor never moves.Rocky

Go ahead and notch the Passenger side of the stock V/8 K member. It is no big deal and the notch makes it much easier to remove and install the engine with the oil pan in place on the engine.

Good Luck...

yup I did it with a grinder and no probs!!
Just take the lip off and that will give you lots of room.
