Been sorting through parts today that will be prepped for the car and came across this, not sure what it does or where exactly it attaches to.

Any help would be awesome. Here is a picture



Edit: figured it out about the time i walked back outside. It bolts to the top of an 8.25 rear end. But as you can see. moparts beat me to it

Pinion snubber and goes on top of the nose of the rearend.

Let's see... ...Completely rusty like it's outside...Under the car...I'd say pinion snubber for an 8 1/4 rear...
