Ahhh, like raised white letters on one side and black wall on the other. As far as the color/brighten difference that may clean up or even out with a coating or two of tire dressing or Armor All, but please wipe it all off before you hit the road, it just wouldn't look right on a Jeep.
I promise, no tire shine product will ever go on those tires! They are too big and gnarly for that kind of foo-foo treatment!! I changed my mind on the wheels. I'm going with a slightly different version of the aforementioned XD Addicts.

No, its just a wheel pic I snagged off of the internet. The wheels I'm getting are 17x9's.

Those lug nut don't need polishing. Pretty sweet and you even got the spare, impressive, gonna need a heck of a spare tire holder.

Made some progress. When the wheels came in, they had sent the wrong size lug nuts. Instead of 7/16" lug nuts, they sent 9/16". They apologized and quickly sent out the correct size lug nuts, but when I tried a wheel on, the factory studs were too short to get adequate thread engagement. So, I decided to step up to 9/16" wheel studs that were long enough to get plenty of engagement. I bought new front rotors and Dorman 610-228 wheel studs, and sent them and the hubs to a machine shop for installation. Rubicon Express 1.5" lift SOA springs, boomerang shackles, new u-bolts, and anti-wrap perches arrived. I smoothed up the rear axle, so I now have everything bought and done to create a rolling frame. That will happen next week.

Thanks for the support, guys!
I installed the leaf springs this morning. I'm going to have to stop right there, due to a bunch of last minute things to do related to Christmas.

It's 9:00 and you already installed the springs? NO wonder you accomplish more than me, I'm just fixin to go out to the shop.
I was extra motivated this morning. If I was like that every day, the Jeep would be done by now. I'm done with my errands. I'm going back into the garage and wire brush and paint those nasty hubs with a coat of black Hammertone. Can't cruise the mall parking lots with rusty hubs, you know.

If you use cement blocks under your vehicle because 4 post lifts aren't allowed in your trailer park, you might be a redneck. If you use cement blocks under your vehicle because you think 4 post lifts are only for rich people, you just might be a redneck. If you use cement blocks under your vehicle because you could use the insurance money to put the wheels back on your single wide, you might be a redneck. Thank you, you've been a great audience, good night! I'd be further along, but I'm waiting for some u-bolts to arrive.

HEY..............them my people you're talking bout.
I prefer 8 inch sewer pipe, it allows you to move it around when needed. (picture too large to attach).
Progress looks good.
