mojavered OP member M Joined: Apr 2010 Posts: 93 CA	If you look up the MSD Blaster 2 coils, they say that they are for points set ups only. It also says that you need a ballast only if you are running points. I am running a mopar electronic distributor with vacuum advance with the MSD high vibration coil. Do I need a ballast with this setup? I have the .8 ohm ballast that MSD recommends for the coil. Running the chrome box. Thanks. 71 Challenger RT 440 / 727 / 8.75

Sinitro master Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 5,439 So Cal	With the Blaster II & chrome box you should be running a 0.25 Ohm ballast resistor.. Mopar part #P2444641. Just my $0.02...
