toplescuda OP I Whine T Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 8,859 poplar bluff mo.	got this motor from aero monte (thanks ed) and was scratching at the #,s can anyone shed any light on it? on side of block by head 2468180-11 down by the oil pan is stamped 0g238915 and on the exh manifold is 2532464 has a thin looking harmoinc balancer(steel crank)? 2 bbl intake ralph 1970 barracuda convert. 1 of 59 1970 pro street A.A.R. clone (panther pink) 1971 charger 2015 hellcat challenger. Redline red 2014 quad cab 4x4 ram 8 speed hemi

Who Knows?	0g238915 tells us it probably came in a 1970 MY car (the first # 0 indicates model year) beyond that a 2bbl intake means it's a low block so probably a 383 2 bbl.... BTW in 1960 there wouldn't be a pad for #s so that eliminates 361 & by 1980 Big Blocks were gone...So 1970 it is...

stumpy I Win Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 33,005 Grand Prairie,Texas	Did you look on the pad on the front of the engine? It should be just below the distributor if it's a B motor. IT will have a letter for the year and numbers for the engine size.
