right now I am running a 446 in a 71 dodge demon that has been blueprinted and balanced, running forged crank, and rods from eagle, 10.5:1 .030 over speed pro forged pistons, a 292/509 cam and worked over 906 heads up top with weiand team g single plane intake and 825 race demon carb.

I am looking at running a new set of heads and cam but not sure what to get with the limited budget i am on....my goal is to run 11.0-11.2 with the car

it weighs 3100 without me in it has a 727 with 9" 3500 stall, and built rear end with 4.10 gears, i will be using 28x10 slicks

Some ported 915's which'd bump your CR if you could get a set together reasonably or step up to alum (stealth or eddy) & been (on here) highly recommended to have them attended to 1st plus at least some basic (if not more) porting. I'm assuming you do not have not have quench now? Just rememered, might peruse the Mopar Muscle Dulcich BB porting articles & his take (which I highly respect) is that porting the later heads (452) are far superior to the early (906/915) ports (closed ch 915 adv not withstanding) if you pressure/crack check the later heads b 4 starting

live every 24 hour block of time like it's your last day on earth

have not had a good solid run with it last time i was at the track best run i could get was a 13.9@89mph because i had to shut it off at or very near the 1/8th mile mark as i heard a loud bang which found out in pits was the needle seat gasket blowing out on the carb...it also had 3.55 gears bad posi unit and at that time stock slant 6 fuel system with holley blue fuel pump, plus mallory unilite system

car now has rebuilt rear end with 4.10 gears and brand new posi unit that has larger springs put in it, sumped fuel tank and new -10 ran all the way and msd 6al with pro billet distributor

I can also add i was ripped off by someone who was suppose to dyno tune my car for me get it set up right and it made 290hp loading up the plugs and backfiring at the wheels because he had the timing locked out at 15* total and carb all messed up....it is now at 20* initial and 40 total all in by 2000rpms and carb no longer has any issues

If everything is all good now then you should be pretty close to your goal. Take it out, get some good solid runs with it and then go from there.

40 total seems like alot but im no expert, maybe someone will be able to chime in on that.

Ask around in the race section, those guys should know about what it will run now.

yes 40 way to much, try 34-36, total,
also shift points will be low with that cam , 5500-?5800
as for heads, just go get the stealths, , !
keep the cam or go for something a little more aggressive,

oo get rid of that intake, find a rpm, or mp,
that not a very good intake choice at all, run one , its a good 2 tenth killer with that combo, run it did got rid of it, for a rpm performer
