I need a stock replacement 26" radiator for my New Yorker - I bought a 26" 4 core for my Charger but I forget where I got it from. I'm trying to get a reasonably priced radiator that's close enough to stock to re-use the shroud. Any suggestions?

I took my stock 26" 2-core rad from my Challenger to a local rad repair shop. I asked for a 4-core. He said the rad wasn't big enough for a 4-core, but he could do a 3-core. I had him do that, and have been pleased with the results. Been using the rad for 7 years now with no problems, and of course the factory shroud fit perfectly....

That's what I did. A local rad shop put a 4-core inside of a 26" C-body rad for $300 total.

I can only speak to my recent purchase from US Radiator, only three of the mounting holes lined up, the top inlet tube is off by 2 iches, the bottom inlet is also off, the trans line are also off by 2 inches and on top of that it leaks on the bottom and when I told the guy who sold it, he said and I quote " I can't believe you can't streach the hoses two inches" and they will not take it back.....buy at your own risk

I had a triple core put in my 67 GTX. It is 3/8" tubes on 3/8" centers. I think it was called an MX core by the manufacturer, but the important thing is the number of tubes and the spacing.

My Hemi car runs sufficiantly cool here in the Arizona desert with this radiator and a 4 blade fan with a solid spacer and a shroud even in the summer months.

Nick,

The radiator in the Polara was recored by a place in Medford or Somerville a couple of years ago. I can't remember where, though. It does fine in parades.

Steve

Someday I'll have another C-body.
