The 67 Barracuda I just bought was originally a manual drum setup. It has a 11 inch factory disc conversion on the front with the slider calipers, and wilwood 4 piston 11 3/8 inch setup on the back.
Somebody had a wilwood proportioning valve on the rear brakes, and it was set almost completely off and turned in the decrease direction.
Up front they put a mopar 1 1/8 bore master cylinder and have the rear of it running to the front, and the front running to the rear brakes.
The kicker is they still have it hooked up to the factory proportioning valve on the frame.
Anyone have any Idea if this is right or not?
I have run lots of setups on drag cars but running a street setup through the factory proportioning valve is new to me.

FWIW... I have Wilwood HD brakes on the front of my 71 Demon with 10" B-body drums on the rear.I used a Mopar M/Cyl and I kept the factory prop valve, and never used the adjustable Wilwood part that came with the front disc kit.The car stops great, and I've had no problems.

Thats what I was thinking. I should be able to loose the wilwood prop valve they had on the rear. Just seemed strange that it was on the rear and almost completely backed off before... Of course, nothing else was done right on this car so there is no reason the brakes should be right either....

I didn't change the lines either. They are in the OEM ports, and I have a line lock plumbed in the system.

I checked tonight and it looks like a distribution block and not a proportioning valve.
