Well, Its been a long road but it is finally coming together and thought I would share.

Its a factory 383 ,ps,pb and a/c.

This was also my first body and paint. I really dig the lace and metal flake top.

What a great truck!!

Tell me, what did you do to get it down so low?

Here's a pic of my old truck...16 years ago.

Thanks guys. Pulled leaf springs to get the correct height. Now I am going to send my axle off to get a 3" drop on it so I can add a couple leafs to get ride quality back.

Do you have crazy bump steer with it at that height? I want to drop mine but I want to keep the beam axle and leafs as that is part of the feel of the truck.

I have driven it alot. I have yet to get the death wobble.

I will send the beam out and have a 3" drop put on it though. Just for ride quality.
