Using royal purple breakin oil on a new cam.How long before i change the oil to regular royal purple?would 10w 40w be ok to change to? 440 engine hughes cam.

I put around 100 road miles ,Then went back to GTX 10-40 I think you can run up to 2500 miles . I keep it and reuse it over and over . Last three engine. All did ok!!

1000-miles on the break-in oil. Then go with the least thick motor oil that still provides acceptable oil pressure. Start with 10W-30 and see how your accurate oil pressure gauge responds.

Amsoil now has fully synthetic Engine Oil with
Zinc added, especially for flat tappet Engines..
I intend to put It in My 440 after i reach 1k miles on the break in Shell Rotella with Lucas
Zinc additive..

Yes, Canadians can get the same discount. Although there is a separate form for Canadians.

Also, depending on where you are in Toronto, once you have your PC account in the system, you can call your order ahead to the Toronto Amsoil distribution center and then pick it up not paying a dime in shipping cost, very cool.
