has anyone installed a 44-46 re without using a pcm to control it, is there a way to wire it into a 60's mopar? thanks

The RE series transmissions have no governor persay, as it relies on PCM inputs/outputs to control shift points , torque conv lockup and OD function
And I know of no aftermkt avail controllers to make it work.

RE series trans would be more trouble than it's worth as opposed to a RH series trans which still uses a mechanical governor , just electronic to control OD function
