i bought one today and have it all wired up except 2 wires but have a ?
one of the wires go to keyed 12 volts ,no biggie but i ran out of that color wire (yellow) the othet wire says to run to ac so when you turn ac on it will come on and if you dont run to a toggle
comes on at 180 off at 170
is the wire to toggle to just over ride?if so can i leave it off?heck if i wanted to run it off a toggle switch i could of wired it up with one and no nead for a thermostat

yes the a/c one is just an override.
you need it at low speed or stopped to get air over the condensor.
you can also use a trinary switch to give that signal so the fan isn't on all the time.

maybe I misread your question.
the a/c wire can be on a toggle, or on the a/c line.

if you supply power to that circuit there it doesn't care what temp you are at, it will start the fans.

the regular controler portion with the temp sensor will take care of temps if you don't hook that up.

The AC override is to cool the condensor, not the radiator. This is for the condition your ac is cycling and your radiator does not need cooling from the fan.

As for the automatic temperature. Those numbers seem low. The OFF temp must be higher than your thermostst temperature.

the paper work say will come on when temp reachs 180 and will stay on till temp reaches 170

if you use a 180 thermostat, it will never shut off.

i never use a thermostat in any of my older car for almost 30years
this one wont be any differnt
iv never had a prob related to the cooling
