In the motor bay i have 3 lines running up the frame ..
1. fuel line
2. vent line to the oil breather and to the carb
3. ????? Vapor Separator ????
Where is the Vapor Separator and where does it go ? what does it do and do i need it ?
and pics or diagrams would be great

The factory style fuel filter/vapor/return assy is avaliable generally from most of the restoration source vendors, Herb's, Year one, Jack's, Mega parts, etc, etc, etc,...your choice

Hey Ramcuda, this wouldn't be YOUR Superbird would it? I took this pic back in December 1981 while out visiting some of my relatives in Lomita. (White interior?)

Wingcar Thats how you know you got a CA car ... or its a spare filler tube that still growing ..one day it will make threw the quarter.. 70sixpac Thanks for that pic.. now i see how it mounts ...once that motor in you never really see the eddy heads ,,,  Sunroofcuda ..Thats not mine ...but ill fill up everything i won 10X with those gas prices .. ahy you would happen to have a PN# for one of thoes "3 nipple" fuel filter ???????? Tanks guys

Now i look at the date you give on that pic i can tell you that the car we have went to bed in the garage in Nov 1981 .. and sleep there tell sep 2009 when we rescued it.
