So i just got my HHR fan today. I layed it on the radiator and it does not fit. It is not as wide as my radiator. I measured the outside tabs and they are 26 inches. Please post any pics you have of your HHR fan mounted. And please give the dimensions of the fan and radiator. Thanks!

I'll take a couple of pics and show you how I did it... it fit my radiator perfectly when I cut the tabs off the sides

I don't have a pic handy, but I just used four ~7 inch pieces of metal strap and bolted them to the shroud and the core support...2 on the topside, 2 on the bottom (it pulls the fan back against the radiator). I also used some weather stripping to make a good seal on the vertical sides.

I'm going to add 3 or 4 flapper doors so it has more air flow near the perimeter while at speed... I have hear of guys getting hot while at speed but they are fine at 35 or so... being that mine leans rearward so much I am going to use plastic as a door but I need to determine how thick so it opens at a certain speed/air flow
