hello, i am looking at swapping my 318 to a 383. Its been a while since i have worked on mopar. is there a parts list needed for the swap. i am sure that i need motor and trans mounts. The car is factory ac and power steering i havent done this in a ebody, not sure if this can stay with no modification. i was also told that the k member for the sb and bb are the same? thanks for any info
thanks, joe

Joe,

The K frame is the same. The tranny mount is the same. The things that are different are:

motor mounts
exhaust
power steering pump
radiator

Auto or 4-speed? Either way, trans bell is different so you'll need to consider that as well (i.e. different tranny if auto or bell housing). Possibly different driveshaft depending on the above.

Might get away with the radiator you have depending on the build of the 383. Need to consider inlet and outlet of radiator and inlet to BB water pump.

Will have to lengthen the harness since the dizzy is in the front on a BB. Might need different torsion bars, suspension upgrades, etc. All depends on what you are doing with it.

383, Hemi 4-Speed, AlterKtion, D60
