Is that silver carpet on the top pf it? I've been wondering what I wanted to do to reduce the sun glare reflection I get from this dash.
Right now I drive through the pits with my gloves up there and then once I get on to the track I don;t have a problem.

Its left over carpet from when I did the rest of the car. Glued it down with trim adheasive. That glare was awful.

Yeah it is
Part of my problem is that I love the way the dash looks the way it is and really don;t want to cover it up

Yea I know what ya mean. But really had no other choice. The lighter carpet seems to not be so distracting.

I'm going to buy a fiberglass dash from one of the chassis companies... i have a home made alum dash now but I want something a little fancier
