Need more info here. the 3.54 sounds like a Dana 60 ratio. The 3.55 was common in the 8 3/4 axles. If that is the question, then... no. Those two axles do not share differential parts.

Which rear end are you talking about?

7-1/4, 8-1/4, 8-3/4, 9-1/4?

Typically, 3:54 gears are for 9-1/4 Dana and 3:55 are for others.

I'm pretty sure that the 9 1/4 is a Chrysler built axle. The 9 3/4 DANA 60 is a separate unit.
