I had one real bad stamped rocker so i replaced them with the Mopar HYD units..pulled a few out and slid them on shaft they have plenty of play as well is this normal????
Shafts michro'ed ok.

yes it is normal. The pressure is on the bottom of the rocker pushing it up against the shaft. Gap on the top makes no difference.
