I am keeping my eye on this thread. Was thinking about this one with 3 cores. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayIS...RK%3AMEWAX%3AIT

or this one with 4 cores. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/70-71-72-...sQ5fAccessories

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

If you are running a A-body with 70 and up aluminum water pump you can't use the stock fan shroud. And the upper water neck is close to the centerline of a mechanical fan. So you will need a fan 2" smaller diameter than the MP fan package if you want a mechanical fan. And you'll need to make your own shroud.

I bought a three core 26" one from on Ebay earlier this year. I had to send the first one back because it was pretty twisted; about two inches diagonally. The second one was twisted as well but only slightly so I used it. I had to redrill all mounting holes, as well as the shroud mounting holes. Other than that, it works fine. Cools well on my '70 Challenger with warmed 360 and A/C.

Was going to go with a BE COOL but the translines run to the side of them and I don't know what I would use to get my lines to go up there.

I have a 2-row 26" one in my 74 318 Valiant. It cools just fine even in traffic when it was 90+ degrees out. I bought it from a seller on here. The install was fairly straight forward. The trans cooling lines had to be bent by hand a little bit, I had to drill mounting holes in the aluminum of the rad, and would have had to modify it slightly for a shroud. Overall it was very easy to install and worth it and it cools better than the old one even without a shroud.

i need to buy a 4 core for my cuda but havent bit the bullit yet
only thing i can complain about is there was no male pigtail to go with the female wireing on the fans but other then that very happy with it

I have the three row 26" model of that one. I had to make a seal from closed cell foam to seal the top and bottom of the shroud to the radiator. It had about 1/2" to 3/4"gap,but fit flush on the sides. Other than that it works great. I run a 7 blade factory clutch fan and a factory shroud.Overall it was a pretty good deal for the money, lots cheaper than some of the other options out there.

I put a 3 row in my 1970 Satellite back in May. I went on the complete HotRod Powertour without any problems...running the A/C!! I would highly recommend Craig to purchase one from. It did need a little modification but was worth it in the cost savings compared to the BeCool.

Have one in my 68 Charger and it keeps my 408 magnum stroker cool with A/C. Not sure how it would do with a big block though.

Can't run an 18" flex fan with one?

Do they have the dual-pass option ?
