How do you guys set your valves (clearance/ how much turn ) with adjustable rockers and a hydraulic cam? I have a 360 with 273 adj rockers and mopar 484 cam. Need to know the proper way to do this. This is for a street / strip project. Thanks in advance

I would adjust them to about .020~.030 preload.
So find zero lash( spin pushrod until you feel drag when slowly tightening) And not sure on those rocker threads, but a quarter to half(?) a turn.
You want the least amount of preload to avoid lifter pump up at high rpm.
Best would be a way to measure lifter plunger depression(intake off)

Warm the motor up by driving it for 20 to 30 mintues to get the oil hot, remove one valve cover and set that side, start by bumping the starter over so the front cylinder INTAKE valve opens and starts to close, set the exhaust valve on that cylinder by backing the adjuster off slowly while trying to spin the pushrod, once it spins easily and the rocker arm has some up and down slack in it between the adjusters slowly tighten the adjuster while spinning the pushrod, once you start to feel the pushrod get some tension on it turn it another 1/4 to 1/2 a turn. One valve set, then bump the starter (or use a socket and breaker bar on the crankshaft bolt and turn it over by hand, if possible ) over until the intake closes and the motor turns over until the exhaust valve starts to open, once it does that set the intake valve. Do that seven more times and your done (one side at a time to try and keep heat in the motor, I start the motor up after doing one side and let it run for several minutes before doing the other side ) take your time and make sure you get them the way you want them, some of the lifters may clatter when you start it up after setting them but they will pump up again and get quiet This is known as the intake closes and the exhaust opens way of setting the valves This is the only way to get them set properly on a BIG duration camshaft, works good on small ones also
