Hey guys, does anyone know the right part # for a dual friction clutch kit for my car? I keep coming up with a couple different numbers.
I have a 72 Duster that I'm droping in a 1974 360 with an A833 cast iron tranny, it has a 10.5" clutch now, but when I look up clutch kits for my car I get a 10.4 and an 11", both saying they fit a 360. Looking to buy asap so I want to make sure I get the right one, and I know there quite popular around here. Thanks
Butch

My 1974 360 Duster used what I believe they called a scaloped clutch, which basically had a 11 inch disc with a special pressure plate that bolted to the 10 1/2 inch pattern flywheel. The truck 360 used an 11 inch clutch and pressure plate, not the car. You should use the 10 1/2 inch pattern flywheel, and the correct bellhousing that goes with it. Then you can get either a special scalloped clutch, or the 10 1/2 inch clutch. Call Brewers, or look up his site , and he will get you the proper clutch for your needs !

Yes, That number will fit. I have one here now to go in a 340 Duster, and I put the same model in a 440-6 Cuda( with 23 spline trans ) I just removed the over center spring on the clutch pedal, and it works great !
