Its a Mellings for 40 sum bucks.

I'm sure your stocker one will work. The only difference I see between the Melling and the higher dollar ones, are the shaft is polished below the gear.

I just prefer to run new stuff with new cams, rebuilds etc etc. YMMV

The difference between the stocker and the HP part is the area where the round shaft transitions to the hex drive, the HP part has a gradual radius at the transition where the stocker has a sharp cut that invites breakage.

Thanks but the one i pictured says heave duty and the price was right,well car wont ever be driven in winter anway so hopefully be ok.Thanks.

They can call it anything they want but if the shaft has the sharp transition it's no different than any other one like it...they do break regardless of weather.
