I have a Holley 600(vac secondary) id like rebuilt RIGHT. Its going on a stock 340 its either that or rebuild the original TQ...right now a Eddie 750 is on it but its just not the right carb for it but at least it runs.(the eddie was for a much bigger cam and the butterflies were drilled a bit for it to be able to idle right with the larger cam in it so id just like to eventually get something new OR have the 600 rebuilt)

Im assuming on a mostly stock 340 with just headers and stock type cam that a 600 Vac Secondary holley would be a decent match?? Or should I be looking at something else...

Any recommendations on a place to rebuild the Holley 600??

I wish we had one around here..most guys unless they do their own(engine rebuilds or machine work) send theirs out not a lot locally from what ive been told.

Why wouldn't you consider trying to do it yourself? It sounds like you're not needing anything radical, just a basic rebuild. Shouldn't be that hard.

I would do the thermoquad. I had one on a stock 440 and it ran great, driveability was awesome. But the holley 600 would be a good choice as well. They're not hard carbs to rebuild, I think the only real issues they have are the same as any other carb - worn out throttle shafts will make your rebuilt carb still run like garbage.
