replaced turn signal assembly and bulbs turn signals work parking lights work when you turn headlight switch on the parking lights go out turn signal still work with lights on parking lights dont any ideals?

What Dan said. That's the only difference that I could find in the under dash and headlight/parking light wiring harnesses between a '68 and '69 RR/GTX, that was one yellow wire from the dash headlight switch. Figure because the '68 has 4 side marker lights and the '69 has reflectors and no lights they needed to turn off the '68's parking lights when the headlights were on to minimize the draw so the alt could keep up at idle with all of the other things that might also be on

This flipped me out too when I first noticed it on my '68 rr, had to ask on here after spending an hour or so trying to figure it out
