Can somebody please set me straight on what cars the Go Wing came on and what cars came with Gull Wings. I thought I had it all figured out, but after doing some research, I'm finding conflicting info. I'm even seeing on some sights Gull Wings being called Go Wings and vice versa. Post pics of each too, just to clear the air. My 1971 Duster has a Go Wing and I want to put the Gull Wing on it instead. I'm seeing some with 34" spacing and some with 36" spacing. Which is correct? Thanks in advance.

Go-wings are the ones with sharply bent ends they were a 1970 release,.......although it is possible to see one of these on a early build 71

The gull-wing is the "soft" swept design,......as far as I know 71 was the last year offering these wings "factory" installed.....although it is possible for some cars from 72 and up, to be dealer equipped with either of these wings?

As far as the spacing, 36 inches is mopar, either wing,.....the 33 1/2 spacing, is a poor researched early repro Go-wing that was first offered, and some 71-73 Ford Mach 1 Mustang wings retrofited with Mopar pedestals,.....the Ford wings are 33 1/2 center to center on the legs also....

Gull wings are the ones you see on 70 cudas and challengers and have very little, if any, drop at the end of them.

Go wing has the very obvious drop. Attached is a pic the Go Wing on my 71 Demon

71-later should have the GULL wing, NOT the Go wing, unless it's a VERY early 71...in which case a 70 style GO wing was an oddball possibility.

DemonKyle,
If your car is an EARLY 71, that may be the correct style of wing...although 99% of all 71's got the Gull wing.

As others have said. Go Wing is 1970 though some early '71s could have received it as the factory may have been short of the new style or wanted to use up old stock.

1971 changes to Gull Wing and I also think it was the last year for wings.

Go Wings have been shown. Here's a Gull Wing.
