To say I have learned alot during this would be an understatement...so much work...geez....now I know why it costs so much...hopefully it doesn't look too bad for a rookie...

Couple of questions to throw in...I've been using spray bomb primer to cover the bare metal as I've been working, do I need to remove it before apply the "real" primer and one other thing (rookie questions, sorry) should the bare metal be primed before or after filler?

What kind of primer? If it's cheap, couple dollars a car stuff, I would sand it off. If it's a better etch primer, I'd just scuff it.

I either etch prime or epoxy before I do the mud work.

Thanks, it's regular 'ol Rustoleum gray primer, I'll probably just clean it all off prior to priming just to be safe...I only put it on there because I had bare metal everywhere and it was buggin me

Looks good ...you gotta love AMD panels, might be a little spendy, but you know your doing the car right and that's all that counts, you'll thank yourself later when the cars done, and there's no patch panels hiding under bodywork to worry about

Thanks, now for the drivers side, quarter panel was in good shape, now I have to install this lower panel, I've already cut the rusty section off, any tips and/or suggestions GREATLY appreciated BEFORE I cut and fit.
