Should work fine. The heater core is a bit different. You should be able to put a 70 heater core in it or use the 69 heater core which has different heater hose configuration under hood.

to expand on that a little: the '70 core (and the corresponding nipples on the WP) use two different sizes (5/8" and 1/2") unlike the '69 which use two 5/8" lines. This was done to prevent people from hooking them up wrong.....and most people do because the lines are supposed to "cross over" each other.

you can either change the core or the hose nipples, but if you want it to be correct looking, you need to use a '70 core.
