I have a Richmond street ring and pinion in my dana 60 and have to replace the pinion seal and nut. My question is this, is the Richmond and factory pinion nut the same size and thread count? I have a new factory one and it doesent want to go on easily, just want to be sure . Thanks

It should be 7/8"-14 but who's to say the newer (Chinese?) ones aren't metric. Use a thread pitch gauge to be sure.
