Hey guys!

I am referring to the 4 bolts that hold the plate that the rear leaf spring bolt to on my '69 Super Bee.

My service manual appears to say that the "front hanger nut" is torqued to just 30 ft-lbs.

Is this correct? Just seems low to me for some reason.

Thanks!

30 would be about right. They are small studs.I gust tighten mine with a 6 point socket and 3/8 ratchet.Never had any problems.I do have a feel for how tight nuts and or bolts are as Ive done it for over 40 years.I also use a dab of blue locktite.Rocky
