Strange spoiler cutouts on 1971 cuda trunk lid? #1015050

Hi everyone!

I would like to know if this trunk lid is correct for a 71 cuda,or a aftermarket? I have never seen these strange spoiler cutouts before.It looks factory to me.What kind of trunk lid is this? (see pictures)

Incorrect trunk lid with mods in your pics....Here's a pic of the 71 spoiler set-up...Note the "stepped" underlid structure to accomodate the factory brackets...

Ok,so you think its some modification of the spoiler cutouts on my lid.how do i know if its a original (what year?) or an aftermarket lid? Anything i can look for..
Maby it is a modified early A06 Trunk Lid 2934744?

Those spoiler (welded on) brackets are not factory. They do appear to place a 1971 Gull wing spoiler in correct location. Is that what you have on your deck lid? (1971 version?)

It is an early 1970 trunk lid. The first of three 1970 model year trunk lids. It would be part number 2934744 code 23-19-8.

Note the two circle shaped cut outs on the left side in the raised area.
Here is a picture of the first of three versions for 1970.

1971 version.

Note: the Gull wing spoiler bracket cutouts are in a slightly forward position compared to the 1970 version.


All the deck lids have small round cutouts for the luggage rack.

Hi there,thanks for all information.

yes,i have the 71 version of wing on.Is the model code stamped in to the trunk somewhere? (23-19-8)I have some very small numbers to the right of the jack instructions.Maby its a date code or something..
