for those times where i dont want to hear the roar of 600 hp goign down the street, for when i want to take the lady down the back roads for a nice cruise...
what kind of sound systems are people using to bump the tunes? are you putting speakers in the kick panels or dash or package tray, are you using a sub, are you using components? what other kind of things have people done i am looking to get creative in the trunk too. lets see what you guys have.

Well, the reciever is easy...Any single DIN chassis will fit... The first phase of speakers is usually the factory locations....That would be the front 2 dash speakers and the 2 rear 6x9s....Next step for me was adding the kickpanel speakers and subs in the trunk....In my case the amps are in the trunk upper center{where the spare would reside}....I've got a 4 way amp with the high/low pass to filter out the sound per speaker...And a separate sub amp...This is in addition to the head units 4 speaker wiring....So it's very tuneable...That makes 8 speakers in the cabin...2 subs in the trunk...Pics to come...

mine is old school, only have a single speaker dash so I installed 6" rounds in the front doors and the 1/4 panels and 6x9's in the rear package tray...8 in all sounds great..120 amp...
