Was removing the lug nuts off a rear wheel last night and... Yah, I know. Pull the axle, press out the.. I know the drill. Then I started thinking Has anyone ever replaced a stud without removing the axle? PS: It a 9.25

Yeah I have. Just smack it with a hammer and it will pop out.Turn it till it clears the brakes. Then slip the new one in.Get a lug nut and some washers.Put the washers on then the lug taper side out. Then tighten with an impact is best.It will pull the stud into the axle.Done it hundreds of times.Rocky
