Im getting ready to paint the shaker bubble on my 70 challenger... I plan on painting it the same color as the car (EK2- GO MANGO) I was wondering if the shaker grill inserts get painted the same color as the bubble or are they black? I see that the promo EK2 six pack chally's shaker grills are colored the same as the bubble..Not sure if they changed it along the evolution of production.... thanks!

you could either way,....but IMHO matching the grilles to the shaker color (EK-2) would set it apart from the others

go black for contrast my red cuda came with a red bubble and I painted mine red and then back to black the brouschue shows them body color dealers choice

I have to agree on the black idea... I dont have anything to break up the EK2 (vinyl top etc) So I Suppose that you could get them either way? (body color or black?)However, the all EK2 six pack brochure cars all orange bubble is starting to grow on me... VERY hard decision....

I think that I am going to have a set painted orange and one set painted black... install and see what looks best in my opinion since it seems that they could have came both ways.. and in my opinion they both look great! Anyone know if cuda skaker bubbles are different from challengers?

Also - Same as Cuda bubbles except for engine call out emblem holes.
