Nice, except for that Orange Cuda parking it in the corner at the end of your long straight. Thought you were going to tag him there.

Nice and looked like a bunch of fun.

Thanks

Basically, it's a 2001 Caldwell LMP engine converted to carb.
P5007420 intake and 825 mighty demon carb.
I also lowered CR from 13:1 to 11,7:1.
Engine is aluminum block, v8 w8 le Mans heads, 180° flat crank, carrillo rods, CP pistons, LSM camshaft.

Trans is A833 aluminium case from Passon performance (thanks Jamie)

Very cool ride along... gets your attention when you
fly by the slower cars(some REALLY SLOW) and you dont
know if they are going high or low when your closing
in on them by 50 mph or better ... great ride

That was cool , that cuda sure had some power .

I started watching this one , i like the angle of it better , 24 seconds in you looked like you were going to spin out , nice driving .

That's one great Dart! I've always loved the sound of the LMP cars. I picked up a copy of Speed Tribe awhile back & it uses the footage of the 2001 24hr mixed with techno soundtrack, Pretty sweet...

Love it. I've been somewhat interested in Indy cars and curvy tracks as of late, this is great to see!

I'd like to know the purpose of the 180 degree crank?

Also what it redlines at?

Engine has an alloy block and weighs in at 170 kilos / 374 pounds. That's a great weight saving over the iron Mopar small blocks and the r5/p7. Perfect for a circuit car.

There are several, the most obvious being it needs only 2 counterweights and is consequentially lighter and therefore can make more power and be more responsive. I think it also changes the torque curve but I can't remember in what way.
