Purchased a K-member a few years ago.Cleaned it off and notice a sheetmetal coin welded on the front edge.It has the # 12 stamped on it. Does that have any meaning? Was thing of installing it in a '73 Cuda with a B-block mounted on it.Thanks in advance.

This thread had sparked my curiosity - so I checked my car's K-frame last night to find it has a #72 oval 'coin.' Its a late '70 E body w/ 383.

The #72 - its not on the list from the link - and I checked the '70-71 parts catalog to no avail either, was there a typo in these lists perhaps? Are there other members who have a #72 'coin' on their K-frame too? Thanks Moparts members.

Just came across this thread....Here's a previous thread with some additional numbers that has your "72" coin number listed... link
