I got a RB with Stealth heads and a Victor 440, proform 950, can a stock cuda hood work with this setup? Im assuming Id need a drop base air cleaner to start...??? Anyone else run this combo? Thanks.

Don, I believe I still have the stock hood your car came with and was planning on installing a 6pk scoop on a flat hood.

Don't know just yet, but i'm about to go and pick up my Victor 440 for my rb with eddy heads. I plan on using a drop base cleaner, i am also going to try 2' and 3'filter with an exreme top. By the way i have a Cuda with a twin snorkel bonnet. Should have it sorted by this arvo or in the morning i will let you know.

Ok i tried it and this is the results. Rb block, eddy rpm heads, victor 440 intake, 850 holley with gasket, drop down air cleaner base which is 1 3/8"(drop), 2 1/4" k&n air filter with an x-treme top. All up this gives me about 5/16" of an inch gap between the top of the element and the bottom of the cross brace of the bonnet. Hope this helps.
