I need to get a 2 position CO2 inline stop ordered. I'm looking at K&R and Biondo. I already have the K&R Pro Cube and I think they're good people to deal with.

Anybody here have some real world experience (quality wise) with either one?

I,ve not used a two stage air stop but my Dedenbear cc3 has a slc, start line control function. in full tree or pro tree mode it has several options as to when it functions. i use it in full tree mode, it comes on with application of trans brake and throttle stop comes off .350 sec before trans brake release. in pro tree it has several options, i believe K&R has similiar functions.

I LOVE my K&R Pro Stage II. It has worked flawlessly since I bought it used at a swap meet for $100 w/bottle!! Deadly consistant SLE and down track as well. Last time out in S/G trim 3 out of 5 were 9.90x and one was on the brakes. Kevin Roden is a great guy and a great racer too.

Well, I guess the K&R unit is the one.

Mega, has a tech inspector ever said anything about the hole in the firewall for the throttle rod?

I used the biondo dual TS on a car I used to tune. It worked good. Used one stop for the starting line rpm and the other for down power for down track. We did need to modify the linkage where it bolted on to the dominator carb in order to get the down power rpm a bit lower. But it worked good after that. We used a solid rod linkage similiar to the picture above.

Having the starting line rpm at 3000 rpm (and at .8 seconds before the T-brake released, full throttle, then on the chip) really helped the driver sit there in S/P when racing slower cars. He liked to run full hits in the 8.90 range when running super pro which met he had to wait a bit on the 11 second cars. The dual stop using starting line rpm control really settled his driving down.

Charlie.
