I've bought custom pistons from Ross, about $700 but that was more than 15 years ago. The last set I bought were Wisecos at about $1000. Never had any problems with either of them.

My machinest ordered some custom JE pistons and pins for my last build and they were spot on, delivered in a timely fashion and cost $887.00 through him(I know). No complaints other than the mark up.....

Did you get an extra one ?
No I did not. I figure if I need an extra one I got more problems than just a piston. Besides they will usually only make them in lots of 4.

Bought a set of Cp's and 043 rings to go with them a few years back, about a grand, zero problems..
If they are correctly told exactly what a person wants done, most all of them are mighty sharp.

Ross and Diamond I have had good luck with. Rick at CP would do anything to help you also.
I prefer Ron at Diamond the most.
