I'm messing with a center thrust crank bearing on a 383, does anyone make an oversize bearing to reduce the crank end play? I thought I read once its available. I got about .010 too much end play. If available any sources? Thanks, Wolfe.
Check the thrust surface on the crank, if it is not smooth now what do you think it will do to a new main bearing, stock or oversize You need to find out, if it is not smooth, what caused the damages and fix that before replacing the center thrust bearing
