i have a set of eddy heads decked from 88cc to 64cc.any one know how much to cut the intake. thanks

The 88cc heads were the Open chambered heads. So you can mill less off the face per cc loss compared to the 84cc closed chamber head.

From my estimates your Eddy 88cc open chamber heads were cut to around a .100 mill.

The correct geometry math is .100 off the flat, .123 off the intake.

With a proper .123 off the intake face, the intake vallay pan rail will need a xx amount of mill too.

I have never followed or used the correct geometry math myself. Below .040 shaves, sometimes none of the above needs to be addressed.

My Question is, Did you cut these heads yourself this much or did you pick them up, on the cheap off of someone else who did.

Either/or, no one cuts the flats this much without taking something off the intake side. Most machinests will stamp the heads with said mill measurements.
