One the other members on here with an AAR posed this question to me to see if I had seen any facts to whether AARs & TAs had single hole levels or dual holes. My shifter and linkage is believed to be original (unless Brian knows something I don't about, he's welcome to chime in) and it is of the single hole variety with 407 SPD so later in the builds. I have also looked many AARs & TA's for ference when I was building mine, many of those were unrestored originals. I also have Barry's DVD of the ultra low mileage TA. I spent about a half goign through all my pictures this morning and I cannot find a single AAR or TA with a dual pattern lever, in addition I cant remember ever seeing a dual pattern lever even used on one. Not definite by any means but from what I have seen I would say the dual patterns were not used on ANY AAR or TA muchless ALL of them. But of course it's Chrysler so never say NEVER or ALWAYS!
