REALLY old-school stuff .... save yurr money, skip this one, add a couple of bucks to the purchase and get a Street Dominator.
I kind of agree with Doc on this one. Without seeing which one (there are a few choices available), it's hard to give good advise.
If you want it for the look, the nostalgia, go for it.
I owned and drove two different Offy intakes that were available, way back then. The Offy dual port that required a Thermoquad was very torquey off the line and had good throttle response, but at the track the Holley SD and Holley carb was about a second better for me.
The other Offy that was turle like and had a divider down the middle only (essentially making it two single planes divided down the middle), worked well on a car I bought, but I never track tested it.
I was always able to sell those Offy intakes for a good dollar to really old shool guys who just loved them. The Dual Port was sold for $400 25 years ago, here in Canada.
Too many cars, too many parts, too little coin, too little space to work in, too little time left to make it all happen!
Update: down to one ride, still too many parts, a little more jingle in the pocket, gaining space, and it's going to happen this year!
